The University of Memphis Alumni Association has a pre-game pep rally scheduled for Thursday morning. A pre-rally welcome will be held at 9:30 at the Markers Mark Restaurant & Patio inside the KC Live Block (pictured below) in the Power & Light District across the street from the Sprint Center (1300 Block of Grand Blvd.)
The pep rally will begin at 10 a.m. and will feature the Mighty Sound of the South and the Tiger Cheer & Pom Squads. The Alumni Association will provide soft drinks, donuts, and a cash bar with bloody marys and mimosas.
The NCAA First Round game between Memphis and Cal State-Northridge will tip at 11:25 p.m. (CT) in the Sprint Center, which is right across the street from the Pep Rally venue.”
Also, tune in to FM100 in Memphis tomorrow morning at 9:15 AM to listen to Tammy Hedges, Executive Director of the Alumni Association, as she discusses upcoming pep rally activities and official U of M NCAA parties and plans for the Tigers! She will be on there several more times this week so tune in frequently!
